Responsibilites
Building on seven years of policy and public affairs experience in the TMT sector, Vicky's role is to offer policy and regulatory advice across Perspective's client base. In addition to her position at Perspective, Vicky is Executive Director of the Satellite and Cable Broadcasters' Group, the industry body for multichannel broadcasters in the UK.
Previously
Vicky joined Perspective from Bebo, the social networking site, where she was Head of Government and Regulatory Affairs and was responsible for developing policy responses to issues such as internet safety, content regulation, advertising and media literacy. Prior to Bebo, Vicky led the digital media work programme for the Broadband Stakeholder Group, the UK's industry-government forum for the converging broadband value chain, working in particular on the UK's response to the EU Television without Frontiers Directive review. Having started her career in publishing, Vicky then spent three years at the Publishers Association, representing the interests of educational and academic publishers. Vicky graduated from the University of Sheffield with a BA (Hons) in English Literature and has an MA in Publishing from Oxford Brookes University.
